The town festivals – NATO informative tent and special hot-air balloon of the NATO Riga Summit in Latvian town festivals


In order to promote the awareness of regional residents in Latvia on NATO and the NATO Riga summit, the Latvian Trans-Atlantic Organization (LATO) in liaison with NATO member state and government meeting organization office and Latvian municipalities was present in the town festivals of the largest Latvian towns with the NATO information tent.

From June to September the NATO informative tent “visited”  a total of 12 towns - Cēsis, Jēkabpils, Gulbene, Saldus, Ventspils, Liepāja, Aizkraukle, Ogre, Bauska, Rēzekne, Jelgava and Rīga.
