Prime Minister of Latvia Aigars Kalvitis will visit the NATO Response Force Maritime Group’s ships the USS Monterey and HMS York in the Riga Export Terminal on Friday, November 17.
The USS Monterey and HMS York are part of the NATO Response Force Maritime Group 2, commanded by US Rear Admiral Groothousen. The ships will participate in security operations during the Riga Summit. There will be a photo/video opportunity for media, during which the Prime Minister will greet Rear Admiral Groothousen.
