NATO Summit volunteers will be easy to spot

Almost 600 NATO Summit volunteers will be wearing specially designed scarves, ties, sweaters and jackets that will distinguish them from the other NATO Summit guests. Among thousands of people it will make easier for Summit guests to find volunteers who can help them during NATO Summit days.
The men are going to have blue ties, while women will be wearing dark blue silk scarves or white warm and fringy scarves. Those volunteers who will do their work outdoors will have warm jackets labeled with the NATO Riga Summit logo. Volunteers having dark blue caps with “IT” on them and with dark blue jerseys will be ready to help with any technical issues, office equipment or telephones.
There will be a photo/video opportunity for media, during which the NATO Summit volunteers will present all six identifying features. All media representatives are kindly welcome on Tuesday, November 22, from 13.00 – 13.30 at Riga Hanza High School Sports hall, Grostonas street 5.
All interested media representatives are kindly asked to inform the NATO Summit Latvia Press Center about their participation by November 21, 5 PM, by e-mail summitpress@mod.gov.lv or phone 7017764.
