Press conference on security aspects of NATO Summit

20.11.2006.

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense and the Head of NATO Summit Latvia Task Force Edgars Rinkēvičs, and the Chief of the Security Police and the person in charge of preparations and provision of security for NATO Summit participants, General Jānis Reiniks, will give a press conference on the latest information relating to planned changes in movement and traffic during the days of the NATO Summit.

The press conference will be held on Wednesday, November 22, at 2:30 PM, in the Small Hall of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Latvia.

The working language of the press conference is Latvian.

Media representatives are kindly welcomed and requested to inform the NATO Summit Press Centre about their participation by November 21, 4 PM, by e-mail summitpress@mod.gov.lv or phone 7017764.
