NATO information tent and air-balloon are visiting Jekabpils town during the town festival

On Saturday, July 22nd, the special NATO Information Tent and the NATO Riga Summit Air-balloon are visiting Jekabpils town during the town festival. The Latvian Transatlantic organization (LATO) in cooperation with NATO Riga Summit Task Force has launched the project “NATO Information Tent and Air-Balloon in the Latvian Town Festivals” which is visiting Latvian cities and towns during the summer period.This Saturday the visitors of Jekabpils town festival will have an opportunity to visit information tent, get introduced to printed materials on NATO and security issues, acquire presentation materials with NATO Summit symbolic and talk to LATO representatives who would be ready to explain the significance of NATO Summit in Latvia.Winners of the quizzes organized at the information tent will have an opportunity to get small prices – such as NATO Summit stickers, coffee-mugs, pens, and other items. The most active and knowledgeable participants will have the great chance to be on the NATO Riga Summit Air-balloon and take a small tour over Jekabpils town. The very lucky participants will be selected by lottery lead by the Major of Jekabpils town Mr. Leonids Salcevics.The NATO Summit Information Tent and Air-Balloon project is sponsored by the NATO Summit Latvia support Committee.The tent has already started its trip around Latvia on July 14 during the Cesis City 800 years nnniversary where also the President of Latvia Mrs. Vaira Vike Freiberga and H.E.
